Title: Corporate Accountant

Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 Base Salary

Position Overview

An expanding healthcare organization is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join its growing finance team. This position offers excellent exposure to corporate accounting, financial reporting, and operational finance, making it an ideal opportunity for candidates transitioning from public accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Support preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Partner with department leaders on financial analysis and reporting initiatives.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1-3+ years of accounting experience.
• Public accounting experience highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• CPA eligible or pursuing CPA preferred.
